How We Store Your Data

Cloud Storage

Your data is stored securely in Firebase Firestore, a cloud database service provided by Google. This includes all account information, learning progress, subscription information, journey progress, achievements, and goals.

Local Storage

The app uses local storage on your device as a temporary cache to provide faster access to your data, enable offline functionality, and store session state (practice session resume data). Local storage data is automatically cleared when you log out or switch accounts. Firebase Firestore is the primary source of truth for your data.

We use your data strictly for app functionality and to provide you with the best learning experience:

Google Play Billing (Android)

For Android users who purchase premium subscriptions, we use Google Play Billing to process payments. Google Play handles all payment information. We only receive purchase tokens and subscription status necessary to provide premium features.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google's services. We only receive your email address and basic profile information necessary to create your account.

Log Out

You can log out of your account at any time. Logging out will clear all local storage data on your device.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory purposes.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
